Common questions
Quick answers for parents and guardians using Storybee to make personalised picture books.
What is Storybee?
Storybee turns a favourite toy, story idea, and reading preferences into an illustrated storybook with optional narration.
Who should use the app?
Storybee is designed for parents and guardians to use with children. Children should use Storybee with adult supervision.
Are stories stored online?
Yes. Your online library is the main copy, so saved stories can be available across devices when you are signed in.
Can stories be stored on the iPad too?
Yes. In the app, open Settings, then Storage, and turn on offline copies. This stores an additional copy on that iPad. Removing offline copies does not delete your online library.
Can I delete a story?
Yes. Delete saved stories from the library. This removes the online story where supported and clears its offline copy from the device.
What happens to toy photos?
Toy photos are used to create the story and illustrations. We aim to collect only what is needed to provide the service. See the Privacy Policy for more detail.
Why do stories sometimes take a while?
Storybee creates text, illustrations, and narration through several generation steps. Larger illustrated stories and audio can take longer, especially during busy periods.
Do I need a subscription?
Some features, credits, or ad-free access may require a subscription or purchase through Apple. You can manage subscriptions in your Apple account settings.
How do I contact support?
